I'M DARCY
All the courageous steps, crushing blows and curious wandering has led me right here: I’ve found a sweet spot in connecting business owners with what they need through writing, content//curriculum creation and brand development.
I’ve been a writer, creative, consultant, content creator and coach for 15+ years. As much as I've denied it, I am an artist. I believe we are all artists of life. With a built in love for people and ideas, I bring heart, intuition and creativity everywhere I go. Or at least what I’ve aimed to do and what I’ve been told. A life filled with curiosity, addiction, recovery, creativity and a yearning to explore, I found counseling psychology and expressive arts, yoga and kindred spirits, among many other teachers and guideposts... all who led me to coaching and consulting, entrepreneurship and the life of exploring I’ve long desired.
Connecting people with who or what they need drives me. Plus, being teamed up with sincere visionaries with heart makes everyday life make way more sense, playful and purposeful.
What becomes possible when you feel more connected to your vision, creatively inspired, qualified to lead and confident to show up, serve and be seen is MAGIC. That's what I do. That's what I connect you with. It's all in you... the Method and Process I've created make it easier and more enjoyable, that's all.
MY STORY
Crafting origin stories with entrepreneurs and artists is one of my zones of genius. Storytelling, listening, talking and asking questions is built into who I am. Sometimes things don’t make sense until there’s a loving witness asking the right questions in the right space. Then, it's like magic... Dots connect where everything was blurry before… and life is suddenly more clear. What I know for sure is this: seeing where we’ve been in new ways can clarify where we’re going and make the journey everywhere more meaningful. When the vision and mission are clear and connected, the rest follows. Looking back can leap you forward in the most aligned ways possible… Clarity, connection and conviction come from telling and hearing our stories intentionally. Origin story creation is where soul and strategy come together for purpose led living.
I’ve lost my way so many times. In meeting myself with a fresh lens, asking “what else could be true here?” beyond the critical stories coursing through my brain that’s been so conditioned to see danger, I have found myself and the meaning in experiences I didn’t think I’d survive. In looking more closely at myself, my memories and my life, I’ve also been able to savor the sweet stuff again and again, then share it with others (which really makes everything sweeter, too). Learning how to communicate with myself and life has bee a steep learning curve, one that is more worthwhile than I can say. Claiming my own becoming, crafting my origin story, this has changed my life and continues to… engaging meaningful conversations is what I live for.
